Paul Muñana is a Senior Manager of Investments for Regency Centers, a Fortune 500 Real Estate Investment Trust. His focus is the development, acquisition, and operation of grocery-anchored shopping centers in the Carolinas and Virginia.
From 1982 - 1994, Paul worked in the Defense and Medical Device industries in both design and manufacturing engineering capacities, including the development of Left Ventricular Assist Devices and fluid control components for diverse medical uses.
Following a relocation to Raleigh in 1994 Paul shifted his career into commercial real estate, acting as a Tenant and Buyer Representative with a focus on supporting startup firms and companies with mission-critical facility needs. Paul co-owned a commercial real estate firm in Raleigh from 2000 – 2006 which became the local office of JLL, a world leader in real estate services. Over the years, Paul has led or been involved in real estate transactions valued in excess of $500 million.
Paul has been active in community service across several organizations and is currently on the Board of Directors of DHIC, Inc., which provides homebuyer support and develops and operates rental communities for families and individuals with limited incomes. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California – Santa Barbara and a Master’s of Business Administration from Kansas State University.
