Bruce Shingleton

W. Bruce Shingleton, MD is an accomplished physician, executive, inventor, entrepreneur, and professor with experience in academic medicine with over 90 publications. Shingleton currently serves as the Founder and President of SuperiorVAS inc. He invented and obtained a US patent for urologic medical devices for performing a vasectomy with less pain and quicker procedure time. He jointly developed and performed the first MR guided cryoablation treatment for kidney cancer in United States. He has taught and mentored several medical students on his Oncology rotations. He possesses an extensive investigative background. Shingleton notably served as principal investigator for treatment trials of bilateral renal tumors with percutaneous cryoablation. He jointly developed and performed the first MR guided cryoablation treatment for kidney cancer in United States. Mr. Shingleton has a BA in Psychology, BS in Zoology from North Carolina State University. He also has an M.S from the University of South Carolina School of Public Health and became Doctor of Medicine from East Carolina University School of Medicine.
