Matt F. Butters

As a Client Strategies Leader, Matt leverages his background in mechanical engineering, management, and consulting to provide exceptional service to our Science and Technology clients.

Matt has extensive experience with spearheading client relations and leading multidisciplinary teams to execute commercial design-build HVAC projects. His leadership and strategic skills have produced outstanding results for technology and science facilities projects across the public and private sectors, and his passion for collaboration, client satisfaction, and company growth are hallmarks of his leadership style.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida and continues to engage with industry trends as a member of ASME and associate member of ASHRAE.

Outside of advancing the HEAPY mission, Matt stays active swimming, biking, and chasing his two kids, Kate and Andrew. He also enjoys spending time with his wife Jen, playing cello, and reading non-fiction.
