Darlene’s passion is teaching, coaching, and creating a culture of excellence. She has over 24 years of experience in management, training, and development, and has been a valued member of the team at First Flight Venture Center for more than three years.

Prior to joining First Flight Venture Center, Darlene was a Regional Training Manager who oversaw all training for 216 stores from South Carolina to Virginia. As a District Manager, she analyzed sales data, managed budgets and assets, and maximized company profits across 17+ stores. She also led training and development for more than 200 employees. Darlene has experience rolling out new company initiatives, participating in focus groups, and serving on district manager advisory boards.

Darlene is known for rebuilding and strengthening teams through her positive approach and can-do spirit. Her passion and outlook center on helping others, serving as a resource, and being part of the solution.

In her spare time, Darlene previously volunteered with Fostering Hope and Hope Closet, supporting foster children and families in need.

Darlene is proud to be part of the team at First Flight Venture Center, where she serves as a servant leader for entrepreneurs as they embark on new ventures that strengthen communities and create lasting impact.
