Bryan Johns is an executive with over 30 years of experience in highly engineered manufacturing.  Bryan has helped companies improve and transition from good to great by leading cross functional teams to collaboratively solve challenging problems that require orthodontic pressure.

Bryan came out of the Airforce with strong technical skills that he was able to apply at Emerson Electric.  In his 15 years with Emerson he had multiple roles with increasing responsibility in Engineering, Operations, Quality, Finance, Sales and Management.  After he completed his MBA at Indiana University he relocated to North Carolina to manage Emerson's 6 appliance division accounts in the Southeast for 4.8 million appliances annually.

In 2007 Bryan joined employee owned Morris & Associates as Executive General Manager charged with bringing structure and lean principles to the organization.  Bryan was an ESOP Trustee, President and COO for his last decade at Morris leaving in 2023.  Over the 16 years at Morris the team was able to double EBITDA as a percent of sales while quadrupling revenue.  They did this while expanding core competencies into countercyclical markets in order to mitigate primary market volatility.

At both Emerson and Morris Bryan helped to build robust field service and support systems that bolstered revenue and cemented customer loyalty.  Bryan currently consults mostly around optimizing customer processes through data science and improved industrial control.

Bryan has advised technical programs at Wake Tech and Johnston Community College.  He has also been a mentor and coach to robotics and lacrosse programs in the area.
