Howard Glicksman has been an angel investor for over nine years and is a member of RTP Capital, IMAF-RTP 1 and 2, and Cofounders Fune 1.  Howard has invested in 18 companies in the Triangle area.  He is also a partner in Resilient Ventures and a member of its due diligence committee.  Howard is a member of the CED-VMS mentoring program and an executive in residence for the NC State graduate level 2 semester entrepreneur course.

 

Howard retired from the DuPont Company in 2016 as a research fellow after 31 years.  He got his B.S. from Carnegie Mellon University and his Ph.D. from Purdue University.  His expertise is in precious metals chemistry and the production of designed particles for use in electronic materials such as plasma televisions and in solar cells.  Howard was involved in scaling up several materials to DuPont manufacturing and is a trained Six Sigma black belt.
