Vicky Cattani, Ph.D.

Dr. Vicky Cattani began her career as an evolutionary geneticist specializing in molecular and classical genetics, genomics, molecular biology, and genome engineering. For this work, Dr. Cattani received numerous awards including a National Science Foundation (NSF) Doctoral Dissertation Improvement Grant and a Charles H. Revson Foundation Fellowship in Biomedical Science. Dr. Cattani has a diverse scientific writing background, having served as a scientific editor for American Journal Experts and preparing numerous manuscripts and grant proposals. In addition, Dr. Cattani has served as a panel member for the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP), the NSF SBIR/STTR program, and currently volunteers as a reviewer for the NC IDEA MICRO Grant program. In her current position, Dr. Cattani enjoys helping clients develop and implement strategies for securing grant funding to advance their research and development objectives. She has demonstrated success with a variety of funding mechanisms and technologies spanning the life sciences and engineering. In her free time, Dr. Cattani enjoys spending time with her husband and kid and exploring the area.
