Sarah leads the Office’s work on translating economic data and research into actionable policy recommendations to improve capital raising opportunities. Prior to joining the SEC in 2021, she worked as a research associate at the Kenan Institute of Private Enterprise at UNC Chapel Hill, researching and writing on entrepreneurial policy. Prior to returning to graduate school, Sarah worked on Capitol Hill focusing on a variety of policy issues impacting North Carolina. Sarah received her bachelor’s degree from Wake Forest University and an MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.
